We offer a boarding house on a 10 acre farm where we raised 4 children in the Pioneer School District. They are all off to college this July/the last one & we can't bear to sell the farm...soooooo we have decided to offer 4 rooms in this quaint farm house for 500$ monthly. You can have farm animals and pets also. We have one 60 years young lady so far. We have a farmer who plans to grow food and sell to the local co-ops..we are very excited about this joint venture and we are taking applications now for a july mid summer move in date.. The Island offers all kinds of wonderful opportunities to enjoy rural life yet be close enough to commute to Shelton/Bremerton or Silverdale even Allen. It is off of Hwy 3 near Pickering Rd & Jarells Cove State Park & Marina! It is absolutely beautiful out here. Wild life galore, Eagles,deer,birds of all kinds,fox,racoon & even an occasional moose-elk-bear or cougar..WOW!! There is a community Grange Hall within walking distance that offers dances,farmers market,clubs, plays, gatherings of all kinds and even a church. Mason County Transit comes to the driveway for free. And we have free high speed internet.IT IS A MUST SEE TO APPRECIATE. , There will be an extra bedroom for sitting and guests. The farm is 10 acres with tractors , out buildings & lots of land to do most any kind of gardening or flower planting one might enjoy!- In-Home business is allowed.
